Things are progressing well with the STARTS program. There are a number of Lilium clones and species in tissue culture tubes and multiplication is progressing at a rapid rate. Some of the material will proceed to the hardening off phase on the next cycle and by spring material should be available for trade or possibly even sales.

I wish to thank the number of people, who have participated by donating material (buds, bulbs, bulbils) of Lilium clones for propagation. I hope this material can be adapted to tissue culture for clean up and multiplied.
